How'vya been?

I have been working, every day, from 9 to 6... damn, I didn't imagine it'd be this hard getting used to an office job again. Yes, I had a lot more time for me when I worked as a teacher but to be honest now I feel a bit more secure... plus lately it's been real cold out here, it'd really suck walking around under the rain and snow.

The private lessons have been going just fine and I've been thinking about joining a dance school for some lessons, you know, just to have a bit of a time off from the office life.

Besides working I read two audio books last week, I'm really loving the audio book idea, just plug it onto my iPod and do everything I want while I listen up. I've been listening before going to sleep, while cooking, walking to work and even doing housework.

And as I had previously told you I continued reading two Sophie Kinsella books, the first two of the "Shopaholic" series. I've gotta tell you I was really disappointed in them. I mean, I'll buy the next two audiobooks of the series next month when I get my credit of two free books to download... just to finish the story.

Whoever read the Shopaholic and liked it I invite you to read "Can you Keep a Secret," it is MUCH MUCH better!

I've gotta confess also that since I work in front of a computer all day long I haven't had time (nor the will) to work on my flash design. It's ehmn... about 80% complete. Of course now I've got to fix the glitches, the typical action script errors that drive you insane.

So this is a temp layout for now, when I'll have a bit of time on my hands I'll publish my flash aquarium... ehmn oops, did I say too much?

Hugs to all of you...

No...

I'm still here, around, somewhere, believe me. I haven't forgotten I had a website where, if I'm lucky, every now and then, a coupa people who care about me might come around to see what I've been up to.

And no, I haven't forgotten that sometimes there are also visitors that stumble here accidentally after some random google search with object "big boobs"... there are no big boobs here, just me. Only me. And a web magazine with free animated avatars. I get tons of emails of people asking me for the avatars... btw thanks...

I've been lingering on cyberspace even if I've temporarily given up on this page... why, you may ask? Because I've been devising a brand new design in FLASH (everybody say "woooooooooooooooooo") but alas I still can't figure out everything. And I don't dare wanna come out with an HTML version of that design cuz that would be such a failure for me.

Anywhos, I've been working at the new job for three days now and I gotta say I love it. I like the fact that my boss and I speak informally to each other and that the job is all mine (I don't have anyone telling me what, when, where and how to do something).

Despite the good first few days I've been showing up to work in the morning with the most horrible under eye circles... cuz I've been listening to the Audiobook of Sophie Kinsella's "Can you Keep a Secret?"

DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about a book that stays with you. I am afraid I am in love with Jack Harper... I really am. And I wish the book had a sequel already available in the shop. I heard they are gonna make a movie of this starring Kate Hudson darn it I am so sad I finished it! It was SO, SO, SO, SO much better than Bridget Jones! Well plus I have to recognize that I enjoyed listening to a book for once. It was like listening to a friend talking, the speaker is excellent. Damn I am so sad it ended... I'm gonna start reading the Shopaholic series cuz I know when I find an author I like I can't put the books down.

Like the summer of 2003 when I read the fifth Harry Potter book in 4 days... day and night... on the beach, in bed, at the dinner table, watching TV, in the bathroom, while talking to my mom... lol, yeah I know, she hated me there!

Or like the time I decided to start the entire Agatha Christie saga and now own like 30 books I still haven't had the time to read.

And now there's Sophie Kinsella, and I love her and I want to read more of Jack Harper... please Sophie, can I have more Jack Harper?? MmMm... Jack Harper.... sigh please gimme more Jack please ok thanks I'm done...

I'm gonna start reading a new audiobook called "The Memory of Running." It's on the bestsellers list and should be pretty good. That is if I don't get the sudden impulsive urge to run to a bookstore and buy "Secrets of a Shopaholic" by Sophie... sigh... it's always been a weakness of mine:

I'm 24 years old, have a degree in literature, appreciate the classics and especially Greek mythology, love learning new things, buy science magazines monthly................... and love chick books... and chick flicks... and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory... plus The Sound of Music Sunday afternoon movie marathon.

Please get me Jack Harper........

Back home

Dammit, it's finally time to go back to work, this will be my last week at Connor's, and then next Wednesday should be my first day at the new job.

I just got back from a mini break in the mountains with my parents. We went to our new house in Cerete and I thought I'd take some nice pictures. Didn't take too many because my batteries were almost out but enough to see the house and such.

I hope you like them!

How much wood can a wood chop chop if a wood chop can chop wood???A bit o' lawn too!Living room- still have to find room for TV so it's in the fireplace!!! more...

A new design is coming soon, whenever I actually find time to spend in front of the computer.

Eatin' silly

The holidays are great because they are a time for being excused when we mellow all day in front of the TV watching cartoons and gay Christmas flicks. Also, I love this time of the year because there are lotsa gifts (and it's not necessarily the material but the thought - trust me, some people gave me gifts I didn't even know were "giftable").

I have been housewifin' away since Fabio arrived at my place on the 28th of December and, sad to say, as always, he'll leave on the 6th. It sucks that our times together always have to go by quickly.

My last day teaching is the 14th even if I almost had a fight with my school- I think they got mad that I quit and wanted me to leave even earlier, without paying me.

But nope siree, I'm not starting the new job till the 19th so I gotta make a miserable 150 Euros before then no?

I'm so proud of myself, this New Year's Eve Fabio and I decided to stay home and thank heavens because many of my friends who went away were not very happy with what went down with their parties etc.

Plus I made the most excellent pasta al nero di seppia con code di gamberi e pisellini primavera, an incredible arrosto in crosta and lenticchie agli aromi!!!

Well, I had a feeling this was going to be a rambly post but I just wanted to jot it down cuz I was afraid I'd forget a few things...

I'll check in soon, I hope you all are enjoying your extra pounds!!
