November '04 - Celine Dion - Miracle

Celine Dion teams up with worldwide known baby photographer Anne Geddes to depict the wonderful picture of motherhood.

Everyone who appreciates the importance of mothers will love this album and perhaps shed a couple of tears for the miracle of life. A marvelous way to take a short nap from wars and violence all over the world and the worthy comeback of a diva.

September '04 - Zucchero - Zu.&Co.

This Italian music veteran has teamed up with famous international artists such as Eric Clapton, Ronan Keating, Sting, Sheryl Crow, Andrea Bocelli, Macy Gray and many more to celebrate his most famous songs.

The music is great and it's very interesting to notice how Zucchero's songs adapt to the performers' different cultural tendencies.

April '04 - Usher - Confessions

He's back! This CD features some pretty tight tracks such as "Yeah" featuring Ludacris, "Feels Good" featuring Cam'ron and the amazing R&B ballad "Burn."

It's worth a listen!

December '03 - Sheryl Crow -The Very Best of

This CD features all of Sheryl Crow's greatest songs. There have been several GH albums out lately but since Crow is a great artist it is worth owning this one!

Includes "Strong Enough," "All I Wanna Do," "Everyday is a Winding Road" and much more...

October '03 - Marilyn Monroe- Anthology

This just-released gem of an album contains all of Marilyn's most successful songs and allows you to reminisce her wonderfully cute and perfectly simple films.

Must own this if you love classics...

Mary J. Blige- Love & Life

The Queen is back! Was hoping this wouldn't be a letdown but how could Mary ever let you down? She is back with a strong album inaugurated by a HOTTTT single and video!

Particularly great tracks in the album besides the poppin' "Love @ First Sight" are "Not Today" (feat. Eve), "Don't Go," Special Part of Me" and oh so so much more feelin' in this album. Don't leave it on the shelves.

Grade: A-

Jennifer Lopez- This is me... then

I cannot even find a correct word to describe this album... except garbage comes to mind. The only acceptable songs on it are "Jenny from the Block," "I'm Gonna be All Right" and "All I have". All those are songs that survive only thanks to the aid of hot rappers such as Nas, LL Cool J, Styles and Jadakiss.

The only thing I can say in defense of Lopez is that she is much stronger in hip-hoppish pieces than in ballads, where the back-up singers can hardly cover JLo's mistakes.

No matter how hard she tries, she cannot sing! I don't know what producers are thinking when they put in the album so many lame-o ballads, such as "Dear Ben," supposedly written by Lopez, which sounds more like the poem of an 8th grader.

Grade: D

Christina Aguilera- Stripped

I was so pleased by this album, it contains great songs that display Aguilera's talent and spirit. Some tracks, such as "Beautiful" and "I'm OK" are so heartfelt as they pierce through your ears with her extremely powerful voice.

And let's just say that the controversial "Dirty" is so hot that while some of us may say ohh so shameful we are feeling the tempo with our foot.

This record is such a surprise and should be in your collection. Sweet, hot and sincere all in one.

BEST SONGS:

-Walk Away

-Can't Hold us Down feat. Lil' Kim

-Impossible feat. Alicia Keys

-Beautiful

-Dirrty feat. Redman

-Infatuation

(hard to pick them cuz all the songs are nice)

Grade: B+

Brandy- Full Moon

This record is completely different from Brandy's last two hits so beware and don't expect the cute Brandy we used to know. It might grow on you, but it's not as good as the previous two albums.

BEST SONGS:

-I thought

-Wow

-Full Moon

-Another Day in Paradise

-Love Wouldn't Count me Out

-What about us

(Everything else pretty much blows)

Grade: B-
